Have you been getting too many headaches lately? Are they chronic or mild? How do they suddenly start?
Some people get severe pain in the forehead and front of the head while some feel pain on the sides beside the eyes and at the back of the head.
Some feel a constant wave of pain, which comes and goes and some feel a banging pain in the whole head. Here are some of the causes:
Skipping of meals
This sounds a bit funny, but it is true that your stomach is directly connected to your head.
When you skip meals and create a cavity in your stomach, the acidity of your stomach increases.
This affects the head directly, and instead of indicating that you are hungry, the head starts to pain.
This can be considered as one of the indications. You will notice that when you pop a sweet or eat a small snack when you head is paining; the pain would subside and help you get relief. Hence it is not wise to skip meals.
Less sleep and rest
Some working professionals cannot see anything but work. They work the whole day at the office and also get the work home. They will not sleep on time and work late into the night.
This reduces the sleep time for such people and hence causing headaches in the mornings when facing such problems.
It is recommended that you rest your body with ample sleep and prevent any complications in the body. An adult should sleep at least 6-7 hours at night.
Excessive tension and stress
These terms anxiety and stress are the culprits for causing headaches in 70% adults nowadays. Tension and stress would create a strain on the nerves inside your brain and hence causing problems.
Headache however is the first step, and if one does not cure this fast, it can result in severe consequences related to health.
When you have work or family pressures, it’s wise to relax for a while and meditate at least for half an hour a day. This would reduce your migraine as well.
Bad habits like smoking
Tobacco is injurious to health. Chronic headaches caused due to the smoke of tobacco can be very hazardous and even cause cancer.
There are many more causes of migraine. To know your particular reason and treating it, is what is needed to be done.
Treating the migraine through pills is fine for people who get them rarely, however, if you face headaches often and they persist for long, then consult a doctor and find out the reason why you encounter them.
