A Conqueror Of Bullying

There are so many people in the world that would have been really great if only they followed whatever that they believed in. The most successful people in the world are not really afraid to show the world who they really are.
True greatness stems from within. Anyone willing to be great must first understand who they are, what they can achieve and what they can't. Once a person gets to know all these, they are unstoppable.
Unfortunately, due to the weaknesses that are unique to individuals, there are those who fail to accept who they are and their limitations or weaknesses. Once this happens, the dreams that one has in mind rarely come to fulfillment as the failure to accept who they are acts as their downfall.

Luckily, the world nature has placed great role models who have achieved and continue to achieve great things despite their various weaknesses or challenges. For such people, what others believe to be their weaknesses, they use it to be a source of inspiration and motivation for their success. One of such people is a beautiful young girl by the name April Star.
April has a condition known as Vitiligo, a condition that causes small white patches on one's skin. The condition is caused by the inability of cells to produce melanin which is responsible for the dark color of the skin. The patches occur mostly on those parts of the skin that are exposed to the sun.
Most people with the condition usually have a low self-esteem and they often look down upon themselves. April was a victim of the same being a target of a bully when she was only eight; she, however, advises those who suffer from the condition to not let it tie them down.
April, who is now a young model, says that she hopes that her actions of coming and showing the world will help encourage other people with the condition not to hide but should get out and show it to the world.
The condition should not act as a hindrance to one's dreams; it should serve as inspiration for one to achieve more. April says that she was inspired by Winnie Harlow, 21, who is also suffering from vitiligo.
The two are perfect examples that the condition should not hold anyone from achieving their dreams. April is only ten and she believes she will make it. This means that anyone with Vitiligo can make it just like any other person. Therefore, Vitiligo should not hold anyone from achieving their dreams, as a matter of fact, it should push them to achieve more.
